Conspiracies or “a Matrix of lies around us”? Whatever you call it, investigative reporter Jon Rappoport has exposed high-level corruption and the medical cartel he famously named AIDS Inc. But a better life is possible, he says, if we have the courage to imagine brighter outcomes and the strength to build them.
In Rappoport’s view, medicine is central to the ability to control large numbers of people. “If you want to do the most horrendous things to people, the best cover story you can have is a virus,” he says.
“How Positive Are You” co-hosts David Crowe and Elizabeth Ely take his tour of reality in vivid 3-D, asking not only “who runs the world?” but also “what can we do about it?”
Drawing on his 30 years’ experience as a journalist, Jon Rappoport now helps others expand their personal power outside what he calls “the Matrix.” In addition to running a consulting practice with private clients, he has made publicly available, on his “No More Fake News” Web site, three collections — The Matrix Revealed, Exit from the Matrix and Power Outside the Matrix — and has lectured extensively in the U.S.
Rappoport’s articles on politics, health, media, culture and art have appeared in newspapers and magazines in the U.S. and Europe, including LA Weekly, Spin Magazine, Stern, The Village Voice, Nexus, and CBS Healthwatch. He has also hosted, produced and written radio programs and segments in Los Angeles and Las Vegas and appeared as a guest on more than 200 radio and television programs, including ABC’s Nightline, PBS’ Tony Brown’s Journal and Hard Copy. LA Weekly submitted his name for a Pulitzer Prize for his 1982 interview with the president of El Salvador University during a military occupation of that campus.
In 1994, Rappoport ran unsuccessfully against a long-time incumbent for a seat in the U.S. Congress; however, his 1996 “Great Boycott” against eight giant chemical companies – including Monsanto – continues today. AIDS rethinkers might recall his 1988 book AIDS Inc.: Scandal of the Century.
