Dawn Lester and David Parker are co-authors, under the pseudonym NoR (Nature of Reality), of a brief, easy-to-read book titled Why Germs Don’t Make You Ill & Drugs Can’t Cure You. They talk to “How Positive Are You” co-hosts David Crowe and Elizabeth Ely about the three prerequisites for good health – good nutrition, low stress and avoidance of toxins.
Lester and Parker’s courses and discussion groups in Britain led them to write their first book, The Nature of Reality: Exploding the Mind, Body, Spirit Myth. As they became more aware of the unscientific basis of mainstream medicine, they expanded their chapter about the nature of illness into their second book, which we talk about here.
As professionals in fields that require analytical minds – accounting and engineering — they followed the evidence on health in an unbiased and straightforward way, realizing that the mainstream medical establishment is built on a faulty paradigm that can never deliver health – only profits. We join them on this journey of understanding of the true cause of illness and how to be, and remain, naturally healthy.
Their research is self-funded, and that they are not affiliated with any commercial concerns. Their Web site is howtobenaturallyhealthy.com. Their discussion with David and Beth covers much more than HIV and AIDS but is certainly relevant.
Mentioned in this Podcast is a book called American Holocaust, by David E. Stannard, about the genocide of natives in the Americas, covered up as contagious epidemics. Further, “Stannard contends that the perpetrators of the American Holocaust drew on the same ideological wellspring as did the later architects of the Nazi Holocaust.” Also mentioned is Dr. Henry Bieler‘s Food Is Your Best Medicine.
Regarding the effects of repeated use of antibiotics (including the so-called “anti-retrovirals”), check our Episode 58, interviewing Swiss gay activist Felix de Fries.
